BFF: “What did you do today?”
I: “I visited Brighton.”
BFF: “Nice, with whom?”
I: “Me and myself.”
BFF: “You are such a loner.”
How would you feel when the most important person in your life judge you as LONER. I was totally shocked and surprised. The word ‘Loner’ is related to recluse, introvert, lone wolf, hermit, solitary, misanthrope, outsider, historical anchorite and I, am completely none of them.
You must have great friends all around the world but sometimes you will need to something by yourself. It’s the time and place that limit you from being with great people. So, I have listed some situations where people can judge you as a loner but in reality, you are not.
1. What would you do if you suddenly wake up one morning (suppose your are in London) and want to be beside the sea? Normally, you wake up and ask friends to join you. On the other hand what would you do if everyone were busy? Girl, you get dressed up, with awesome summery make-up and take the next train to Brighton. (DO NOT STOP YOURSELF)
2. I really want to watch Top Hat musical show. What should I do? Call friends and make a plan but what if it is planned after one month??? DUH!! Buy the ticket and see it then (which means NOW). If you like the show a lot, you can always join your friends later.
3. OMG, I want to eat sushi so much but all my friends are busy or they want to eat something else. What should I do? Dear, go to the fab Japanese resto in the city and enjoy the sushi. It is not prohibited to go to restaurants alone and plus magazines always ask you to concentrate on your food while eating. So, you can put all the thinking on your food.
This list can go on and on…
BTW, I am not asking you to do all the things by yourself but you also should not stop fulfilling your wishes by waiting for someone to accompany you. We cannot project time and people. So if you can fulfill the wishes of your life easily, why wait for Genie??
P.S. You are not leaving to MARS. People are always around you and it’s normal to enjoy yourself.
