Dry brushing is my latest new ritual. I have been brushing my body twice a week and I am loving it. You can add body oil in the brush too but I personally prefer it dry. The core benefit of dry brushing is activating the lymph nodes that are located in different parts of the body. It promotes lymph flow and also increase blood circulation which helps to remove body toxins.
Exfoliate
It removes dead cells from your skin. Just like how we exfoliate our skin in the face, we should exfoliate dead skin from our body too. Please do moisturize after dry brushing. It’s a must.

Reduce cellulite (not scientifically proven)
This benefit is a myth but a good myth to give a try. Dry brushing helps to improve blood flow and get rid of excess water. Hence, it will make our cellulite less noticeable for a short duration. I, personally, feel it is reducing my cellulite. BTW, I love my cellulites but if I can reduce them naturally, I am open to it.
Self-body massage
Dry brushing is the best replacement for a spa massage. It helps you relax and feel energetic. The best part is you can do it yourself. I feel full of energy after dry-brushing and prefer to do it in the morning before shower and breakfast.
